FEAT

FMRI Expert Analysis Tool

Audio-Visual experiment resultsOverview

FEAT is an advanced FMRI analysis tool with a straightforward but powerful GUI, carrying out data preprocessing (including slice timing correction, MCFLIRT motion correction and fieldmap-based EPI-distortion correction with FUGUE); first-level FILM GLM analysis with time-series prewhitening; registration to structural and standard space; and fully generalised mixed-effects group analysis (FLAME) using advanced Bayesian estimation techniques.

Papers

A paper on FILM has been published in NeuroImage; see a related technical report (PS/PDF/HTML).
A paper on the FLAME higher-level modelling in FEAT has been published in NeuroImage; see a related technical report (PS/PDF/HTML).
A paper on the FLAME Bayesian estimation method has been published in NeuroImage; see a related technical report (PS/PDF/HTML).
A paper on the FLAME Bayesian estimation method incorporating outlier inference has been published in NeuroImage.
A paper looking at session variability, and also comparing various FEAT analyses with various SPM analyses, has been published in Human Brain Mapping; see a related technical report (PS/PDF/HTML).

Software

FEAT is available as part of the FMRIB Software Library.
