Getting help

In many cases you will be able to find help via one of our web-based FAQs. Check for these first - some of them will be found in topic specific areas of the web site. Try the Computing FAQ (internal) page.

We would very much appreciate it if users directed their help requests, at least in the first instance, via the computing-help@fmrib.ox.ac.uk e-mail address. This way your request will reach an appropriate audience who can advise and assist you in the most timely manner.

Direct approaches, both on the phone and in the office, often interrupt important work. This may well antagonise rather than expedite.

Obviously, in a few cases, you may have a valid need to interrupt us and you'll find an up-to-date e-mail and phone list on our Contacts web page.
